BEB Consultancy (UK) Ltd is a privately owned
Company run and managed by the sole Director,
Beverley Elizabeth Brazier. I worked in a private
Legal Practice for 8 years and in Manufacturing,
Lifts, Escalators and Construction Industries for
the past 16 years.
Just some 7 years after the taking of the below
photo, Bev Brazier G.Inst.L.Ex, the Owner and
Director of BEB Consultancy (UK) Ltd, started out
on her path to a career in Law.
At the age of 16, having obtained 4
“O” Levels and 6 CSE’s, Bev
continued her education with a RSA Business
Studies & Commerce Course and obtained 3
distinctions, 2 credits and 3 passes. During this
time Bev had spent some time with solicitors
during work experience and attending the Court and
she decided on a career in Law.
Bev obtained employment at the age of 18 with a
local firm of solicitors. At the age of 19 she
began her studies with the Institute of Legal
Executives. Her specialist subjects were Contract,
Criminal and Family Law and Civil Litigation. At
the age of 21 she became a Fee Earner responsible
for her own case load and secretary and qualified
as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives
in 1995 at the age of 27. She is now a
Graduate of the Institute of Legal Executives.
Once qualified, Bev moved her career into a
commercial environment with the Express Lift
Company as Contracts Administrator. She then
studied with LEIA and obtained a distinction and
credit in Contract Management and obtained further
diplomas in Contract Law & Negotiation,
Contractual Liabilities for Delay and Defects
Liabilities with the GEC Management College.
Bev moved to Thyssen as Contracts Manager and
attended MRP Business Excellence courses and
project managed the installation of a fully
integrated computer system giving her a complete
insight and understanding of all aspects of the
Lift Industry from quotation, order,
manufacturing, stock control, purchasing,
installation to accounting. She also obtained
certificates in exporting procedures and quality
internal auditing and became the Chairman of the
LEIA Stairlifts Commercial Committee.
Bev then worked with Otis as Key Account Manager
in the Service Department. These included Asda,
Next, Primark, Argos and Lloyds TSB. She then
moved to LTR and reached the position of
Operations Director and again worked with Asda,
New Look, Mothercare, JJB and many more in all
aspects of Operations from Contract Management
through to site Project Management with both lifts
and escalators.
At the ripe old age of 40, Bev knew with the
qualifications, and experience she had obtained
over the years she could now provide a niche
service and assist the Lift , Escalator,
Construction, Manufacturing and other Industries
with her combination of Legal, Contract and
Project Management skills. She started BEB in July
2008 and has had a very successful first year.
